When I connect from MMC (Remote Administration) of a WXPPro client with the
server Linux Samba PDC, so that the users and groups of the domain neither the
Unix groups/passwd do not see? I have implemented svcctl but she did not solve
east problem.
Any idea??

How apply I, in Samba 3.0.24 with tdbsam backend, that new user changes the
password (the passw has been applied by the administrator) in the first
sessions start, just as in MSWindos? It is this possible one?

In samba 3, PDC, security=user, backend smbpasswd, that runs in a Sarge Kernel
2,6 for a LAN of W9x clients, I have created the users and groups UNIX and
Samba. Soon I added to tdb of the NT domain the UNIX groups with net groupmap
add ntgroup=Group XXX unixgroup=operators, etc. etc.
Later
In a Sarge Kernel 2,6 running Samba 3 as PDC security=user, I turned with net
groupmap modify... the English language of the names of the groups of dominio
NT to the Spanish, so these are compatible with the Spanish version of each W9x.
Everything it did without problems with script downloaded

How I get that a host (domain NT) only gives access to a certain user. That, for
example, john only has access
to the client IP 192.168.0.11 or, said otherwise, that the host 192.168.0.11 only give
access to the user john.
How could I implement it?
I have looked for in Using Samba and Google,
don't know how it could impede the access to a host of an user with the

explain to it??

Samba 2. 2. 2 as PDC is executed on Debian Woody in LAN with clients Windows 9x/ME.
The problem is that I could
not configure the users clients access, alone I could for resource. If I configure the
users clients access
when I wanna share a directory or file and click in Share appears a
Samba 2.2.x as PDC under Debian Woody. When I want to apply user profiles in clients
Windows 9x (I have created
the directory /linux/profiles and is OK the line logon path in smb.conf...) happens
the following problem.
At start session of any W9x user, the profiles are not saved in directory
