I have been unable to find anything that will tell me what the minimum
system requirements are to build Samba 3.22. What version of gcc,
glibc, etc. Can anyone tell me what they are?

Has anyone managed to compile Samba 3.0.23a on AIX 4.3? I am getting
a linker error:
Linking libsmbclient shared library bin/libsmbclient.so ld: 0711-781
ERROR: TOC overflow. TOC size: 72976 Maximum size: 65536
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.
