restart it, it creates a winbindd_cache.tdb.bak.
Thanks in advance,

Hi,
Is there a way of changing the default idmap caching ? I believe it is
current set to 1 week. I am using samba 3.3.9.
Also any ideas why when this cache expires it does not renew which means I
have to do a net cache flush to clear the cache ?
Thanks in advance.

I have been testing 3.4.3 and it seems better but I can't say for sure yet.
(Getting samba compiled with ldap and zfs support for Solaris is tricky.)

Hi,
We have a small cluster of 4 webservers running iis 7 (windows 2008 64 bit)
with an AD domain controller and a samba server.
Recently we have had issues where a webserver will randomly lose the network
share, the only way to fix this is to restart winbind or samba,
