I have a client who historical had a machinename with an underscore
in it : samba_machine
I had to get rid of the underscore names and changed the name
to samba-machine. At the same time I upgraded to samba-3.0.11 to
get a printer queue problem resolved.
Now it seems the Domain SID has chan
I upgraded this weekend one of my sambaservers to 3.0.11
and the printer queue problem seems to have gone.

Hi all. I am despirately trying to compile samba 3.0 and I get the
following error...I have also tried 3.0.1pre1 as well. I have tried
sunfreeware.com for ldap, my own package I made, and also the latest ldap
from openldap.org... and all produce the following when I try to compile
samba...
Any ide
I can compile samba fine...I start to do a make and it fails
soonpassdb/pdb_ldap.c:64: invalid macro name ... anybody see this before.

Hi there. I need to recompile my samba I am seeing... ie, "with ads
support." For those of you you have it working, can I get some info from
you... that being, what I need in order to successfully compile it with
ads support, and what is needed in my compile...is it just "--with
kerb4=dir". Anyways
Does anybody know if there are any precompiled solaris 8-sparc packages
available?
