I am running Ubuntu 9.10 with samba 3.4.0 After making the regedits on http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Windows7 I can join a windows 7 computers to the domain. But about 66%(random number) of the time I get an error, "trust relationship failed between computer and domain", when trying to login. But

I notice that in the LDAP the profiles are store in a network share. Is it possible to use a different samba server not setup as a PDC/BDC to share these profile. for an example maybe setup a little samba box on a remote site, that stores profiles and home dirs, but still auth against the PDC. wou

I have a gentoo install, running samba with ldap. I can access the PDC shares and the auth works fine. I can even add a computer to the domain, but after I reboot I can login. Something about not being able to fine the domain. I am not sure where to start looking for the problem. Any Ideas? -- To
