I never did get an answer to this. I am pretty much a n00b at this stuff, so I am really looking for some help in adding this Samba server into the AD domain.
I changed the password parameter in the conf file to the AD domain controller, but users still are prompted for login credentials and never gain access.
Can anyone suggest some other things to try to see what the problem is? Do I need to provide more info?
