I have my suspicions that this is a time sync issue, but it is crashing
instead of showing the normal clock skew message. Are you sure your
clocks are in sync between Linux and SBS? I am using "time.windows.com"
with ntp, and until daylight savings this has been working fine.

Hello,
I have similar problem with "INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 6" on Samba 3.2.8
@ FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE-p7.
My winbindd crash once a day/2 days at different hours. I've googled
for such issue, but I couldn't find anything that could be helpful.
My samba is connected to AD @ Windows SBS 2003 R2

Hi All,
Debian 5.0 samba 3.2.5-4
winbindd crashed on me at 02:11am on 29/03/09, which seems too close to
daylight savings changes to be any other issue - does anyone know what
may have caused this? Please see winbindd log below. Please advise if I
can provide any other useful information.
Cheers

In August 2005, the Congress passed and the President signed into law

measures, this law changes the start and end dates of Daylight Saving
Time (DST). Beginning in 2007, DST will begin three weeks earlier (March
11, 2007) and

had to reset all samba sessions as the sessions didn't pick up the time
change.
Copying file from a Windows client to the server
made the filetime off by one hour.
