Hello again everyone, I recently setup a username/password protected share on our Samba 3.0 server and am having trouble accessing it with Windows clients. When I try this, I get the typical Windows error, This share is not accessible, etc etc. I was able to gain access with OS X though. I

Yes, I've made several attempts with the password one finger at a time. Does the Windows login have to be the same as the share username/password? That will be a problem, because the person accessing this share doesn't have a dedicated workstation. She kind of roams around... Thank you.

As far as I know the username and password used to access samba is the same you use when u log into Windows (again, I am familiar with W95/98) If you have roaming users, (we do) install a PDC and use (NT) domain logon. The user profiles are then stored on the samba. That works pretty good in
