[Samba] Disable timestamp change on file access?

Hi list! Is it possible to prevent Samba from modifying the changed time stamp? Now the time stamp is reset every time a file is accessed, even if there are no changes to it. I would just like it to show when the file was written to or changed, not accessed! Thanks! -- To unsubscribe from

I have samba on ext2, the clients are running windows. Normaly the date in windows show the last date/time a file was written to but now it show just the last time when the file was accessed. I remember reading about this problem/feature somewhere but am not completely sure whether it is
