I have often problems with programs installed on windows 2000 client joined to a samba PDC. I'am wondering what is the right method to install an application on the client, I mean: should program be installed by the local user administrator or from a PDC user with admin preferences? I also see that not all the programs behave in the same way. What does the theory says?
