I'm attempting to start smbd and nmbd using the -F -S flags, but get the following:
added interface ip=127.0.0.1 bcast=127.255.255.255 nmask=255.0.0.0 added interface ip=192.168.0.1 bcast=192.168.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 standard input is not a socket, assuming -D option
Seems that Samba is defaulting back to the -D flag.
Any ideas?
If you want to run it from a command line use also '-i' (interactive mode) flag. Without '-i' smbd assumes it was called from inetd deamon.
