You haven't configured pam.conf correctly. Pam has to know how to
authenticte the Windows user

I am having some problems getting a samba server to work with Windows
2000 Active Directory. I am at the point where I can successfully list
all users and groups, using the wbinfo command, and was able to join the
domain with the net join ads ... command. I can also see the computer
