Hi, -We are running Samba Version 2.2.7-4 on AIX 5.3 and i need to upgrade this to atleast 3.0.5 Version or even latest.
-While i checked in site "http://samba.org/samba/download"; for suitable Version i can find one as ' samba-3.0.5.tar.gz' but while downloading and install using "smitty install" cant see any files to install. -maybe i was looking in the wrong way and hence i need your help in installing samba. Previously samba installed using RPM files . -also it would be helpful if you can give the list of files need to backup prior to install of new version.
