Successfully installed Samba3 utilizing OpenLDAP, nsswitch and pam-ldap. Additionally, the smbldap-tools and phpLDAPadmin are excellent.
However, member browsing either in workgroup or domain mode is extremely slow. Once a member resource are accessed (say, a server share), performance is good.
