Due to the ever so lovely storms here on the US West Coast I had to shutdown my Samba v.2.2.4 server running Winbind this weekend, unfourtunatly once I powered back up the server I started getting this error from log.winbindd and could no longer access Samba from my Windows stations.

As a test I loaded a fresh copy of RedHat v.7.3 on a spare computer and followed these instructions
with Samba v.2.2.7a source package but unfourtunatly I am getting the exact same errors in my log.winbindd file as on my v.2.2.4 server.

I'm hoping it doesnt matter but M$ release a hotfix dealing with SMB (Q329170) ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=52eac216-a360-4e2d-9c6b-ad4d31c40ba2&DisplayLang=en ) and this weekend (actually Friday night) my Domain Controllers where updated with this hotfix right before I started having this problem with Winbind.  My guess is yes but I am hoping someone can prove me wrong before I go trying to uninstall a hotfix.

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!
