Running 3.0.4 on FreeBSD 5.2.1. Today there is a regular text file
that appears to be locked. It is an ini file for an application.
The file can be opened with notepad but if you try to save it an
error message pops up...

I have a strange locking file problem. I cannot open (read only) a file
(alais.dbf) from my windows box but form the linux box it is possible to read
the file. I has something to do with samba.
