Hi,
Migrated users successfully to ldap. I stupidly deleted secrets.tdb.
what significance does this have ? The users seem to be able to login,
but i can't add a new computer to the domain because it does not
access my password.
how do i create the domain admin ?

I can't think of anything off the top of my head other than macking sure to
change your passdb configuration options

We use the samba schema in openldap, which adds the following attributes:
sambaNTPasswod
sambaLMPassword
in addition to userPassword and some other samba password related
attributes.
The samba clients are configured to use our samba server, which is
configured to use our openldap server.

by the way, i had this "unix passwd sync" thing working until some
point when i upgraded my server from SuSE 9.0 to SuSE 10, so some
entries in the /etc/passwd file might not be in the
/etc/samb
