As discussed previously on this list, Samba RPMs for Fedora Core do not include idmap_rid support. This is also true for older RedHat distributions. SuSE on the other hand, seems to have been patching in idmap_rid support since 3.0.5 or so; and with trusted domain support, to boot. Harrumph. I'

Hi I have Redhat 9. To download latest samba i went to the following site:- http://us4.samba.org/samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/RedHat/RPMS/i386/9.0/ i can see only one samba RPM what about samba-common & samba-client? Are these 2 built into samba or we have to do build this As i know earlier we use
