ext3 + patches from bestbits
ext2 + patches
xfs

A few things you may try.
First, make sure your ACL utilities and samba are compiled against the equivalent version of the libaries; make sure your versions line up as best as possible. Second, make sure you've mounted the filesystem with the acl optio
