Well, not exactly Samba related... but we have a file server that runs Samba for Windows clients and NFS for the Linux ones on the same folders. Both authenticate against AD (we're running 2003 with SFU 3.5, not R2). We have uid/gid/home folder info in AD. Linux machines mount the file share
