~ The list's charter was to provide a means of coordination between Samba package maintainers. This is now being done mostly via individual contacts. In addition, the samba and samba-technical mailing lists provide ample opportunities for package maintainers to discuss issues and announce new package versions.
Therefore, we have made a decision to shut down the samba-binaries mailing list on September 1, 2004. We will not be automatically subscribing any existing list members to additional mailing lists. If you are not subscribed to either samba or samba-technical and wish to follow Samba's progress, you may do so by visiting http://lists.samba.org/.
