Principal Engineer - CIFS
NOTE: This position is located in CA (bay area), USA and in Pune, India

Seasoned enterprise software developer responsible for design and
development of enterprise software components for a distributed storage
system, building a content delivery solution with current generation of
file-sharing protocols.
Required: BSCS (or higher) with 5-8 years experience in network operating
systems/ Unix kernel development, including three years in core systems
development as a Technical Lead. Experience with network file protocols (NFS
or CIFS) and TCP/IP is ideal. The candidate must have solid experience
developing highly scalable, available and reliable enterprise software
components and be familiar with SW development life cycle and design
methodologies. Proven project and relationship skills, strong analytical
and communication ability. Must have led small groups of developers through
at least one SW development life cycle.
Preferred: Familiarity with TCP/IP and other networking protocols and
embedded software development. Experience with remote development sites is
a big plus. Familiarity with storage engineering - SAN/NAS and SCSI/Fiber
channel technologies also preferred.
