Microsoft's Dfs

Can anyone point me to any documentation on the internals of Microsoft's Dfs?

smbclient msdfs redirects

Does any one know if msdfs redirect support for the client is planned for the 3.0 release? Is there any thing I may do to help this. ~Michael

smbclient and msdfs redirects

Can the smbclient handle msdfs redirects? I see the with-msdfs option, but is that just for the server. again if this is the wrong list I'm sorry. ~Michael

smbmount

I'm having some trouble with smbmount. When I attempt to mount a share and specify a uid of 95829 it mounts, but gives it a uid of 30293 is samba limited to a 16 bit number the uid field? If this is this is the wrong list to post please direct to to the coorect one. Thanks ~Michael
