Another possible starting point is this standalone scanner code, if the two machines communicate in similar ways. That code doesn't know anything about push scan or post imprinting, and the only way I can imagine how to figure that out is by observing what an existing (Windows?) driver does. Which

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to use advanced features (push scan, post imprinting) of the Panasonic KV-S2087 scanner on Linux. There is a SANE driver for this scanner ( https://panasonic.net/cns/pcc/support/scanner/linuxspanakvs.html), but the push can and post imprinting feature
