I run a scanner Agfa Snapscan e20 on Suse Linux 7.3. I configured Sane
1.0.7 and it's running OK but there is a problem.-

my scanner is not found by the sane-find-scanner -tool.
I have compiled the kernel with:
UHCI
USB Divice Filesystems
USB Scanner support
USB Handspring Visior Support
Prelminary USB Device Filesystem
/proc/bus/usb is mounted on none as usbdevfs

I posted a day or so agao, asking if there was any way to collect
additional data, and pass it on to Hylafax's sendfax program from xsane.
Has anyone thoght about this? Am I missing how to do it? If not is anyone
considering affing this abailty?

It may be necessary to re-run configure with some flags;
typically something like --with-gtk-dir=/wherever/I/dumped/it.
Of course, this only works if you have gtk installed. :-)

What about the backend for mustek 1200 ED (CCD01) with full colors!
the mustel_pp (version 0.9) works only with gray scale (use 600)!
the develloppment is stopped since one year ,maybe.
I have to use windows fro colors scans (*^$!?!!!***$)
