- when using scanimage, the default scansize is 126x76 mm

- try using libusb even on 2.4.2x kernels I don't think that the
scanner module is a good idea.
- use libusb-0.1.8 or 0.1.10 - 0.1.9 seems to be buggy

I'll try with USB controller on an PCI card
It works. So the guilty one is nForce2 USB controller. I suggest putting
that in the FAQ, as some other people might run into this problem.
Simple, cheap NEC host card is enough to get this solved.
