Hello.
I'm trying to setup a CanoScan Lide20 and I'm having problems.
Maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong?
The box is an Athlon running on an Asus A7V8X-X motherboard, and
I'm running Debian sid.
I have sane, sane-utils, xsane, hotplug, libusb-0.1-4, all installed.

I noticed that sanei_genesys_create_slope_tables generates a slope table

I think you caught it. It is actually not the scanner causing this abort, it
is the zip-drive.
This actually makes me wonder; in fact I do nothing with it (it is not
mounted). Turning it off and running rescan-scsi-bus.sh solves the problem,
no more abort

Hello I have a HP scanjet and I used the backend from cyberbaladeur.fr
and the scanner works almost fine but it only scans a small area about
145mm X 200mm instead of 220mm X 300mm which I would have expected it to be.
I'm wondering is thare a config file or something that needs to be fixed
