[sane-devel] HP 6350 SCSI Scanner w/ADF

2006-01-28 Thread Oscar Schultz
I have a HP 6350 scanner with ADF. I am running sane sane-1.0.17-0.pm.0 on a SuSE 9.1 system. When I use batch mode the ADF does not signal when it is out of paper. Is the HP6350 ADF capable of signaling the out of paper condition ? What are the steps to debug the code if the scanner is capable

[sane-devel] plustek OptikPro 9636P+ pt_drv : no device(s) detected, (-9020)

2006-01-28 Thread Robert Persson
I have just bought a OptikPro 9636P+ from a charity shop -- no proof that it works except that the light comes on, but no particular reason to think it doesn't work. I have built the pt_drv module (after a couple of minor hacks to get it to compile with gcc-4), but when I try to load it, the

2006-01-28 Thread Robert Persson
In the message I posted a couple of hours ago about my plustek machine I mistakenly said I compiled pt_drv with gcc-4. This was a big fat lie because I actually use gcc-3.4.5. (which has a 4 in it, which is where I got mixed up). Thanks to Mick for so persuasively making me aware of my error.
