There have been two posts to this list claiming that the
HP G4010 photo scanner is based on the GL841 [1] [2].
Can anyone confirm/deny this please? Has anyone generated
a USBsnoop log for the G4010?

Sane recognized this printer and scanned flawlessly.
While working on another project, I added some additional repositories (I
don't recall which) and apparently they changed some lib file or something
similar that sane needs to recognize this printer.
Is there a simple way to fix other than a co
I should have mentioned that the printer prints doc's with no problem, that
it scans in windoze, that HPToolbox recognizes the printer but on scan
config gives the error message
