I’m running Ubuntu 14.04 with an already updated SANE 1.025.
Scanimage –L recognizes my Scanner, and testscan is running fine.
The one thing which I have trouble, is to scan to a defined folder where Users can Access it via SAMBA e.g.
Is scanbd-1.4.0.tar.gz the right one for this?? - I

No change. 'scanimage -L' only lists the USB device and the Wifi
indicator on the device is off. The backend still times out
