Thanks Torfinn and Olaf, I added an entry in my hosts file and it did run a lot faster (use to take 30 - 45 seconds, now done in just a few seconds), but still the last debug line doesn't add the scanner. here is the debug output after adding a hosts entry: root@UbuntuLaptop:/etc#
