I got my CanoScan LiDE 120 working on Debian 9 Stretch ... but it was
challenging and showed some weird sideeffects. That's why I report
feedback. Here is what I did - as far as I remember.
1. Privileges
In the file "/lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules" I inserted the 2 lines
# Canon
can not opened again. When I start scanbd after
the segemntatio fault it scans fine but the fault comes again.
I compiled and using the latest sane-backend from today. All programms
that I tested are working fine.
Any help for me in this group? Here is the output of scanbd

I just tried to compile the latest CVS from today (on OS/2) and got

Looks like the funciton code is missing.

today I tried to compile the sane-backends CVS from today on OS/2 and got this

not to find grep (which is bogus)
Running autoconf (2.59) locally solves the problem.

TI think threading just does not work with those signals as expected.

is that OS/2 crashes with a TRAP D in OS2ASPI
when I hit Ctrl + C while scanning. But this also happens with the older
version and also with epson backend where no threading is involved.
