This is the new replacement for the ScanSnap S1500. I've edited

I have read that you guys have been making some good progress on the backend to
the HP 2300 and 2400. Do you know where I could get the code? Is it in the
CVS? If so, how do I exactly access the CVS for the code? And isn't it marked
as the "Gensys" backend?
When I try to compile that code Frank Zago gave for the gl646, it wouldn't
compile since the "V_MAJOR" and "V_MINOR" macros don't have a value. What are
the values of these respectable macros in the gl646.c code in previous posts?

Someone said they're trying to write a driver for the HP Scanjet 2400. The

I am using an HP 5p scanner with sane.
The problem is that the scaning head tries to exceed the physical
boundaries of the scanner, resulting in very loud grinding noises.

I am willing to test any sane backend tests on the N650U scanner. After
looking through the plustek backend code this was the next logical step, but
due to time restraints at the minute, and my limited knowledge of C and Sane
