Intel compiler version 9 supports these "-fvisibility" compiler

Hi,
I just set up my new scanner, which was very straightforward
on stock SuSE 9.2 (sane package sane-1.0.14-5).
The only very minor glitch was that the firmware file I
copied from the CD is called A2NFw.usb, but sane searches
for A2Nfw.usb and a2nfw.usb, which have different
capitalisation. Perh
Hi,
I'm contemplating buying the above scanner:

... but I'm unsure as to whether or not it's supported by
SANE.
The compatibility page has the 'ScanExpress 1200UB+'
(supported - good) and the 'ScanExpress 1248 UB' ... but no
mention of the 1

Hi,
I've been using the 1.0.44 gt68xx driver today with a Mustek Bearpaw
1200 CU scanner over USB (ohci) on linux on a dual Athlon-MP system
with AMD 760MP chipset, using the patched kernel scanner driver for
2.4.20. Almost everything works well, and the results are generally
excellent for a scann

It's good :) Colours are cream/yellow tinged on mine with
auto-calibration turned o
The required firmware PS1fw.usb is available on the CD that came with
my BearPaw 1200CU, in the 'WinXP' directory.

Excellent news ... I'll let you know how I get on :
Hi,
I've been becoming quite confused while I try to work out what the
most appropriate backend is for this scanner, if any.

I think that this is therefore a gt6801-based scanner, for which there
isn't a SANE backend at all ...
