I am getting an error with this scanner
HP ScanJet Pro 2500
I configure adf source but I always get a scan the same size or an
invalid status result.
I am pretty sure I have a correct value, but I don't know what I may
be doing that prevents this setting from working.
Any suggestion or pointer i

Hello.
I am working on a system with a function to scan documents.
When this option is selected, a new process is started to look, open and
configure a scanner and scan the documents.
However after some time, sane_find_scanner takes a long time to return and
finds nothing.
It is needed to turn on a

Hi.
I am writing a front-end.
In previous version, after sane_start, sane_get_parameters would tell
me how much memory I would need to allocate for the image.
I am using 1.0.22-5 (from fedora) to support a new scanner, but after
sane_get_parameters I am told the image is "-1" lines high.

Hello.
I am testing at work a multifunctional from Kyocera
It's a TASKalfa 255.
Is there any way to use it with sane? It does not appear listed on the
support page
Thank you
Is it possible to open a scanner by device file name instead of
scanning for devices a picking one?
(Because usb devices like backend:libusb:nnn are not permanent/static
, and scanning for scanners is a bit time consuming)
Thank you.

Hello.
I have a Xerox DocuMate515, detected as Documate512.
When I leave the scanner on, after some time it goes into a kind of
standby mode. (the blue led on the scanner blinks slowly)
If I try to perform some operation on the scanner (like sane_start()
or scan an image with xsane), it will hang
