I'm using xsane and iscan ("Image Scan") to interface with my Epson V700 scanner, and they don't show options for scanning beyond 3200 dpi. The backend doesn't work directly either. I am able to see it communicate with the scanner, it goes into a busy state and then gets the I/O error immediately after. I am going to try to compile 1.0.19 in cygwin and see if that has any different results. The test interface does work.
