Hello,
the very first sanei_usb_bulk_write is failing. Was this log taken just
after
the scanner was plugged in or were there some tests
Ruben,
You need USB2.0 for Lexmark x1100 series scanners. This is true for the
Sane backend as well as for the Windows driver supplied by Lexmark.
From the X1185 tech specs on the Lexmark website:
> *Standard Ports* USB Compatible with USB 2.0 Specification

Hello,
could you give the experimental lexmark backend a try ? Here are quick
instructions to build it from cvs, and run it without system-wide install.
First we get sane sources and patch them to get experimental version, and
compile it.
cd /tmp
mkdir testing
cd testing
cvs
Hello, i'm using xsane 0.98b with sane-backends 1.0.17-cvs, that would work to
lexmark x1185 scanner. But it doesn't work here. It sends a sound very strange,
and some times make a scan, but the image is completely black.
The results of "sane-find-scanner -v -v" and "scanimage -L" go below.
