I did take a look and it compiles and all... but it fails with errors:
usb_get_driver_np returned -1
claim failed with error -1

I suppose you have seen this:

It might at give you some hints. For a proper starting point, you
would want to take a look at an existing backend, and find one that
suits your programming style.
