Thanks, but it seems uninstallable. (below) I used the Ubuntu deb line in my
sources.list and tried every release back to Karmic, and same error.

Also why are my scans so shadowy for white pages? I raise gamma and brightness
and it helps, but what happened to the Lineart option?
