Folks,
Succeeded in installing SANE and xsane on an old PowerPC Mac G5 :-) It
even talks to my Fujitsu fi-4750c for scanning with xsane using the SCSI
card in my G5. Was able to scan from the flatbed and using the ADF from
page fronts (at least for a single test page).
So far, so,good. But
I tested scanimage -b with Avision 122 Scanner in different versions of
sane-backends
and behavior is as follows :
-sane-backends 1.0.21 : works correctly
-sane-backends1.0.22 : works incorrectly
-development source : works incorrectly
Help me please

For every sheet the scanner pulls, the rotor goes up and down, causing a big
delay.

I've just bought an HP 6300C scanner with ADF, and am trying to use
scanimage to do multi-page scanning using the document-feeder. It feeds
and scans the first page successfully, and then starts to feed the 2nd
page, when everything stops, with the messages:
scanimage: sane_read: Error
