you have to broaden your search, I think. There is a backend which
ships with sane which supports many other similar machines, and might
support yours:

You might have to add your device IDs to the xerox_mfp.conf file
(usually in /etc/sane.d)
Hi,
I want to scan using a Samsung SCX-4720F.
sane-project.org lists the device as supported by a binary-only
'samsung' backend, however the link provided [1] is dead and a notice
says "Please contact us if you use this device."
So I'm doing just that ;)
Do you know where I can find that backe
