It will take more than a good license. It also takes good code, and
someone willing to maintain it. IMHO, that's more likely to happen by
supporting the existing genesys backend...

Hello, I am new on this mail-list. I have a HP ScanJet 2400 scanner and
thank to this guide it works:

I see on the Sane web that this scanner is not supported, I want to
colaborate to Sane to support this scanner.
