Well, the unbelievable did happen: @Home simply cut the wire for AT&T
customers! It's hard to believe a judge would let this pass. Imagine
your phone company going bankrupt and as a result your phone service
would just go away; that's how this hole thing feels to me.
But enough rambling: at the moment, I have temporary connectivity to
the world again. However, I don't have a static IP address yet. The
phone number AT&T lists for this purpose is not operational (yet?),
but I hope this can be fixed soon. For the time being, you should be
able to reach the SANE web site at the following URL:
http://12.235.52.250/
Needless to say, I'll do everything possible to get a static IP asap
and I'll keep the list posted.
