If you are interested in this position, Please email me your updated resume with expected rate, will get back to you ASAP Role SENIOR SAP BW ENGINEER with the following ROLE & DELIVERABLES: The SAP BW/BI Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of requirements elicitation, design, development and testing of reporting solutions in the SAP BW system. Requires a senior level BW/BI resource who can work independently, directly with business customers to gather requirements and develop the entire BI reporting solution end to end. This resource will be responsible for technical design, coding and implementation in areas such as sourcing data from SAP ECC 6.0, external files/tables, Business Explorer (Bex) reporting, Web Application Designer, SAP Portal, creating/executing transports, and creating/updating process chains. Collaboration with global team to conduct knowledge transfer of completed solutions and to support the stabilization processes. ________________________________________________________________________________ • Completed SAP Enhancements in the BI minor Request for Change (RFC) domain • Completed documentation adhering to the BI Methods and Tools practice including (functional specs, technical overview documents, test scripts, data flow diagrams, knowledge transfer) • Communication with the business customers on requirements, design options, testing and status of solution development • Adherence to the SAP Release Calendar and Process • Conduct knowledge transfer to the Global Applications Support team • Perform project HyperCare support in terms of incidents and requests, as required, and under the direction of managers Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • 5 to 10 years data warehousing experience • Expert with all aspects of BW development: ABAP coding, custom and generic ECC extractors, BW data modeling experience, performance tuning and Bex. • Functional knowledge in Finance (AR, COPA, GL, etc) and Order to Cash (SD) • Thorough understand of SAP BW’s architecture (ETL and Reporting) • Ability to plan own work via project management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to quickly understand business requirements and data models • Ability to collaborate with business and technical co-workers • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Experience with the systems development life cycle and ASAP methodology • SAP WAD and Portal experience • Follow standard SDLC procedures • BI project management skills Desirable Technical / Functional Skills Total experience in required skill (years) • 7+ years, in-depth, hands on experience with SAP’s Business Warehouse Regards, Allen Technical Recruiter Helios and Matheson Information Technology Inc,.
