The HR Technology Manager provides hands-on management of the day-to-day
support for APS’s Infor Global HR system, as well as other ancillary HR
applications.  The position requires a dual understanding of business
procedures and practices, in addition to the technical aspects of the
systems. The HR Technology Manager, under the guidance from the Deputy
Chief Human Resources Officer, is responsible for performing a wide range
of activities to support applications and systems utilized by the HR
Organization and/or customers, and ensuring that HR applications meet the
needs of the HR organization and its customers.  The manager provides
functional and technical expertise to HR leadership for purposes of system
assessments, selection, design, and implementation, and partners with IT to
execute tasks, resolve operational issues and help plan the future
direction of district-wide HR technology applications.



*EDUCATION:  *Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related
field

*WORK EXPERIENCE:  *5+ years implementing and supporting HR technology
solutions; experience supporting ERP packaged solutions, preferably
*Lawson/Infor,* in all major functions of HR – Talent Acquisition, Talent
Management, Compensation, Benefits and HR Operations; experience creating
complex enterprise ad hoc reports;  experience working in an urban school
district or comparable governmental/public sector work preferred,



*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:*

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant
data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas
effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and manage and
resolve conflict;

Advanced skills in *SQL, dashboard reporting, process flow and process
automation;*

Excellent project management skills;

Proven presentation and facilitation skills;

Expert knowledge of best practices in *HR Technology Systems;*

Strong understanding of HR software suite and their internal relationships;

Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing large technology
project-portfolios in a product-driven environment and accountability of
deadlines and value propositions



*ESSENTIAL DUTIES*

1.

Serve as the subject matter expert for the ERP HR solution.

2.

Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying and supporting Infor
Process Automation.

3.

Oversee the data collection and reporting activities in support of the HR
function and HR customers.

4.

Act as liaison between the HR and IT functions, interpreting customer and
Human Resources functional requirements, and helping translate to IT
requirements.

5.

Serve as the IT-functional subject matter expert for the HR organization,
as well as issues escalated regarding HR application usage.

6.

Develop and maintain HRIS architecture maps, for both current and
future-state environments.

7.

Advise HR Leadership on HRIS best practices and new technologies that may
be appropriate for APS HR.  Participates with IT in new technology
assessments and recommendations.

8.

Provide functional HR assistance to the IT organization, relative to
design, and testing of HR technology applications and related tools that
are used by the HR organization.

9.

Assist with the definition of service level agreements and resolving
service level gaps.

10.

Proficient in use and design of *Crystal Reports.*

11.

Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
