The TripCase team is seeking front end quality assurance engineers to be part of a team that develops an application that ensures a stress free travel experience. Working in a small cross functional team, you will bring this vision to the weary traveler. *RESPONSIBILITIES* - Front-end quality assurance engineer for multi-platform web and mobile device applications. - Develop automation architecture and test suites with a long term vision. - Contribute well tested code daily to the automation environment - Work as part of the team and with minimal direction. Yeah, we know you have probably seen that with every job description you read but we really mean it! - Be an excellent troubleshooter and problem-solver. - Lead by example; mentor and be mentored by others. - Passion to learn and bring the best engineering practices to the team. - Actively participate in product feature and design discussions to help shape products. - Search out latest trends in mobile application testing, and seek to improve the ways of working of the team *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* - Strong web/mobile automation experience that demonstrates your experience using Java, Selenium and JMeter - Familiarity with application development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Databases, APIs etc. We expect our QA engineers to be able to collaborate and understand the tech stack used in the development of the product. - Ability and desire to learn and work with new automation frameworks, development languages and technologies as needed. - Experience with agile development methodologies - Strong programming experience that has translated to automation of test cases *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* - Heavy Java & Selenium experience.
