*Duration : 6+ Months (Possible Extension) Interview : Phone then Face to Face * Job Description · Cloud & Data Test Engineer has first-hand experience in developing automated test regimes for scalable services and applications targeted at public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS. · They have implemented and deployed comprehensive unit and integration test suites enabling continuous delivery of robust and high quality solutions. · Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful Cloud Test Engineer is technical with excellent team skills. · They work effectively with internal and external customers and have demonstrated leadership within professional associations. They have effective verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated track record of understanding user needs and achieving user satisfaction. Job Responsibilities: · Builds unit and integration tests, test rigs and mocks suitable for validating the correctness of service API implementations. · Follows best practices associated with DevOps and value-driven development – ensuring quality from concept to production. · Works well in a small team and capable of collaborating with other teams to align objectives and share expertise throughout the broader organization. · Identifies and keeps abreast of novel technical concepts and markets. · May author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations. Job Requirement · DevOps experience with continuous delivery on public clouds such as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS. · Experience with agile product development practices required. · Experience with open source software platforms such as Apache Hadoop preferred. · Experience with microservices architecture, development, deployment and testing. · Familiarity with container or virtualization technologies. · Competency with managed languages such as Java or C# required. · Experience with compiled languages such as C or C++ preferred. · Knowledge of interpreted or dynamic scripting languages preferred. · Experience in the energy and petroleum industry preferred. · Positive attitude, Willing to learn and grow, team player. · Bachelors / Masters / PhD degree in science or engineering with software experience or education.
