Role Summary/Purpose
This role is to own and deliver IT solutions in the scope of Aviation
Supply Chain data reporting and integration, based on
analysis of business needs with end users. The candidate will
establish an operating rhythm with Project/Program Managers
and/or Product/Process Owners to collaborate on projects and
opportunities for simplification and standardization. Long term
strategic planning & contribution to the overall business strategy is
a key part of this role.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Direct liaison to functional process owners in order to prioritize
requirements & translate them into technical requirements.
- Responsible for reviewing architecture, design, code & data mapping
to ensure best quality.
- Mentor development teams & recommend optimum, best possible
technical solutions to problems, guiding teams for
implementation of the same.
- Control changes & review them before implementation.
- Suggest alternative solutions or workarounds where needed.
- Highlight technical risks, identify mitigation & share the same with
Project or Program Manager / Product or Process Owner.
- Work closely with IM Project Manager or Product Owner throughout the
life cycle of the project.
- Own data load and data verification process during and after
rollout.
- Collaborate with business process leaders & maintain business
process domain knowledge.
- Proactively work with Project Managers, service provider project
teams and TSG to resolve technical issues; champion closure
on business & technical issues related to process, business rules and
technology configuration.
- Actively engage assigned business process leads & support team to
identify optimization opportunity and improve business
satisfaction of solution [VOC].
- Take complete accountability of quality of solution delivered by
project and support team. Ensure best, efficient and
maintainable solution.
- Identify business drivers and work closely with Product Owner and
Architect to incorporate relevant technology trends within
the business. Explore business and technology alternative approaches,
prepare functional and cross-functional design
documents and help derive business benefit analysis explaining the
Business, Technical Architecture & relevant stakeholders to
sponsors.
- Pilot and assist with strategic implementation of Agile concepts in
Aviation Supply Chain IT.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, including experience with
requirements gathering, design, development and testing.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience with Oracle databases.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams and interfacing
directly with remote clients.
- At least 2-3 end-to-end project implementations.
- Highly motivated, team player.
Skill sets required :
Worked on Agile project
Cognos :2+yrs of exp.
Oracle database:2+yrs of exp
Project implementation exp.
Job Location : Bangalore
Experience - 6 - 11 yrs
