Location : Moline, IL Start: Immediate Duration 4- 6 months Client is requesting the services of a senior analyst with significant experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, development and implementation, using the Informatica ETL tools. This resource will provide technical leadership in the development of new ETL projects for business applications within the Deere environment. Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Consulting with business analysts on ETL needs, tool selection, source/target system analysis & mapping, development & documentation of ETL development specifications, oversee ETL off-shore development and testing efforts, oversee design reviews & code reviews, assess technical issues and provide direction on solutions, validate compliance to technical standards, provide assistance to Data Analysts on documenting business rules and transformation logic, identify reusability opportunities for ETL components, act as point of contact for business partners through the development cycle, conduct testing result reviews and deployment readiness reviews. Technical Skills: * Extensive technical working knowledge and experience delivering ETL applications using Informatica Power Center is an absolute must. * Mainframe environment experience (COBOL, JCL, IMS, mainframe DB2 required, SAS experience a plus). * Distributed application environment experience (AIX, Distributed DB2, Oracle, Sql Server). * Senior level experience mapping data transformation logic between disparate data sources. * Extensive knowledge of relational database design, modeling, and SQL access patterns. * Senior level experience in data warehouse, data mart design and implementation. * Significant experience in AIX Operating system operation and administration.
