Job description:

Essbase ETL Lead Location:Simi Valley, CA.
================================================================== • Overall
8-10 years of work exp with at least 3-5 years of hands-on work exp with
developing on Essbase, Planning and Shared Services • Analyze and translate
business requirements into technical specifications Build prototype using
EssBase and work with users to solidify requirements and design • Lead data
cube design activities • Define cube data structure and calculation rules •
Create ETL specifications to importing data and building cubes • Work with
the OBIEE developers to create reports using cube data • Tune performance
and troubleshoot applications • Work with out-sourced vendors to setup,
configure, maintain and upgrade hardware configurations for EssBase
implementations • Train Report Developers and end-users to maximize the
utilization of EssBase features • Evangelize the capability and power of
EssBase's toolset to other parts of the organization • Working knowledge of
software version control concepts and change management processes • Working
knowledge of ETL processes • Working knowledge of data modeling concepts,
both relational and dimensional • Knowledge of JDBC, ODBC, PL/SQL, TOAD/any
SQL query tool • Knowledge of Oracle Financials or any other ERP system •
Experience with Hyperion System 11 is desired • Extensive experience with
writing Business Rules, Calc scripts and Maxl scripts • Extensive experience
with building and modifying Financial Reports (FR) and/or WebAnalysis
(Dashboards) • Extensive experience with Windows scripting and writing batch
files in support of ETL Processes.
